impact: Web site was restructured in terms of site architecture, design and development. The result was a drastic increase im member satisfaction in member satisfaction largely due to usability enhancements.
task: To create an online destination where parents and educators can learn how to protect their children online. contribution: Design and Development
impact: Online Safety Week was a national event sponsored by AOL. Audience ranged from media, parents, educators to kids. The main challenge was to make safety look appealing and fun; to show that being safe does not necessariy mean being boring.
task: To create a welcome site for new members so they understand which preferences and tools are available to them after registration.

impact: AOL Max is a stand-alone client that allows members to access the AOL software on top of their existing connection. The product was sold based on safety, communication, and VIP entertainment features. The challenge was to inform new members to manually set their preferences so that the custom security features will work. This was acheived by dividing their tasks into 4 main areas: Safety, Communication, Fun and Convenience. To maintain interest and show how dynamic the product was, flash was used in the header and main image.
